Small precious pod
Pod of loved ones
who I kiss
exchange saliva with
and other bodily fluids
depending

Ranging in age
from 1 to 80
years of life
and wanting more

Slobbering spittle toddler kisses
Affectionate kisses on the cheek
Passionate kisses
depending

Exchanging love with touch
Safe in our Coronavirus pod
Hopefully safer than the Closed Fluid Circles
of the early days of AIDS
when trust broke down
and people died

Trusting in our pod
Loving in our pod
Safe in our pod
We believe and trust
depending on each other
