UNEXPECTED SCENES

Here are some Unexpected Scenes that I have recently seen.  
I did not expect to see a flying boy.

This girl appeared out of nowhere.

When I read The Barbapapas to my children, this was the Barbapoppa's house.
​ I discovered it is a real house, visible from Interstate 280, in San Mateo.

A girl is covering her teacher’s face with cornstarch.
​It is a surprise that the teacher let the girl do this, a pleasant surprise.

as Eve may have contemplated the apple after taking a bite.

​​Daniel Raskin is a retired preschool teacher. He lives in Bernal Heights. Daniel writes with The Older Writers Laboratory at the Bernal library, The MERI Center at UCSF and Laguna Writers.
