OLLI Member Daniel Raskin took the photo used on our Cover from Sweeney Ridge, above Pacifica, CA on Sept. 2, 2023 at 7:32PM.   Here is his explanation of the details:  

"I used a SONY Cybershot RX100VII digital camera, and the exposure was 1/1000 at f5. The ISO was 1000 and the zoom lens was at 200 mm.
 
I love to photograph sunsets, as well as sunrises. I like the way they bracket the day and the colors. A sunset is the perfect way to be thankful for another day. I might qualify as a sun-worshipper."
